Community Based Family Services
Community Based Family Services (CBFS) provides intensive therapy to children and adolescents ages 5-18, starting at four hours per week. Our clinicians administer weekly individual and family therapy, parenting support, and behavior management tailored to each family’s unique needs. These services assist individuals who have experienced trauma and are facing mental or behavioral health challenges. Telehealth options are available statewide, with in-person services in the Denver metro area and surrounding counties.
CBFS also features Behavior Resources for Adaptive Needs in the Community and Home (BRANCH). This intensive in-home therapy model is designed explicitly for neurodiverse children and adolescents who have intellectual or developmental impairments, including a diagnosis of autism and a history of trauma. Service providers counsel children, adolescents, and families in the home, community, or school setting.

Behavior Resources for Adaptive Needs in the Community and Home (BRANCH)

BRANCH is unique from other autism services in its focuses on autism and trauma, as well as through the incorporation of both individual and family therapy. On average, clients engage in BRANCH for 8-14 hours per week.
Our team works with families to provide behavioral interventions for a period of one to three years, depending on the family’s need and Medicaid approval. Services are provided in a variety of settings including in the home, at school, and within other community settings.
Caregivers play a large role in this therapeutic process. The BRANCH team works closely with families and caregivers to teach them interventions that increase and sustain child and family stability.

Treatment Foster Care (TFC)
Just like families, not all foster kids are alike. Foster parents with high-needs children need extra support and our Treatment Foster Care (TFC) program is here to offer that support in partnership with Denver County Human Services.
Treatment Foster Care provides 6-12 hours of evidence-based therapy and support per week to families with very high needs foster children in order to support the child in stabilizing and preparing for placement or reunification with a biological or kinship family. Our team works to provide the right treatment for the family so that everyone can succeed.
